Major Christian Etim Efut

Major Christian Etim Efut is the HOD of Clinical Medical Laboratory Department in Army Command and NAOWA Hospital Abuja. Major Efut is an experienced and licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist who has served in various Nigerian Army Laboratories such as 13 Brigade Medical Centre, 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital Kaduna, Military Hospital Lagos, 68 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital Yaba, amongst others.

The senior Officer has attended several trainings on Global Clinical Laboratory Practice and Management which includes; Basic Medical Laboratory Leadership and Management, Quality Management System for Qualitative Laboratory Tests and Identification of ESKAPE Pathogens, Biosafety and Biosecurity Training for Laboratory Leadership Organized by Walter Reed Army Institution of Research (WRAIR), amongst others.

Maj Efut is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (MILT). He is a trained scientist on laboratory transition of ISO 15189:2017 to ISO 15189:2022 which is a global standard.
