Army Command and NAOWA Hospital Abuja (ACNHA) gets accredited by Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
In furtherance of efforts to secure Housemanship training for newly graduated doctors in ACNHA, a detailed assessment of the hospital was conducted by the accreditation team of the MDCN between 10 – 12 Sep 23 following implementation of the necessary accreditation requirements by the facility.
Having fulfilled the basic requirements for approval, the council earlier this month granted ACNHA accreditation for Housemanship training as selected by HQ NAMC and posted annually by the Ministry of Defense. The assessment team who conducted the accreditation exercise was headed by the Registrar of MDCN and comprised of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) President and 6 others.
