Major CD Nwabotu

Major Chike Daniel Nwabotu is the HOD Medical laboratory of Army command and NAOWA hospital. He is a licensed professional medical laboratory scientist with over 10years experience in medical laboratory practice. He has served in several military hospital laboratories such as 81 DMSH, 7 DMSH, Defence Reference Laboratory, 44 NARHK and Nigeria Level II Hospital Mali.

Major CD Nwabotu has attended several clinical laboratory trainings and programs some of which are Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP), quality control and method validation, laboratory accreditation and stepwise laboratory management towards accreditation (SLMTA) workshop organised by CDC-Nigeria. He also holds master degree in public administration, PGD in logistics and supply chain management, warehousing and material management.

He has vast experience in Laboratory Quality Management System(LQMS) as required by IOS 15189:2012 (E). IOS 15189:2012 (E) is the standard requirement for medical Laboratory practice globally.
