Dr. Nathan Anelechi Elvis Okeji is an astute medical practitioner and a seasoned Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He holds MBBS Degree from the University of Nigeria, a Fellow of West African Post Graduate Medical College and He holds a Diploma certificate in Minimal Access Surgery from World Laparoscopy Hospital India.
He Commanded and administered many notable military hospitals as Commander, Director and Chief Medical Director. Among the hospitals commanded include, 1 Division hospital Nigerian Army Kaduna that supports the Premiere Division of the Nigerian Army, Military Hospital Port Harcourt, 68 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital Yaba and 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital Kaduna which is the premier Military medical facility in the Nigerian military.
He presently heads the Nigerian Ministry of Defence Health Implementation Programme (MODHIP) which collaborates with United States Army Medical Research Directorate Africa/Nigeria in the fight against HIV in the military. He leads the MODHIP in the military’s response to COVID 19.
Dr Okeji is an active member of various professional bodies; Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), World Laparoscopic Surgeons and Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists of Nigeria (SOGON)
