• First appointment as Class Teacher at Baptist Grammar School, Ogbomoso. (1976-’77).
• Had his basic Medical Education at College of Medicine, University of Ibadan (1977-83)
• Medical Specialist Training In Radiology (UI & UCH, Ibadan 1990-94)
• Board certified in both colleges of WACS & NPMCN
• Advanced Medical Specialist Training in Germany, Italy & the USA (1998-2004)
• Appointed Chief Consultant Radiologist NHA (1999-2016).
• Attend conferences, Seminars, Workshops etc regularly annually till date.
• Currently appointed visiting Consultant Radiologist at the ACNHA March 2020 till date

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Over 37 years of experience working as medical doctor & 26 years as board certified Radiologist.
• Extensive experience performing & analysing specialized radiological tests with special interest for non-invasive Vascular and urological examinations, deploying Doppler Ultrasound Scanners, Computed Tomography (CT), MRI etc as tools.
• Excellent knowledge of human and material resources management.
• A general Radiologist but with special interest in non-invasive Vascular System, Genito-Urinary system and Musculo-Skeletal system e.g. [1]. Special (Transcranial) Doppler Ultrasound scans to prevent and treat stroke in Children with Sickle Cell Disease [2]. Special Ultrasound scans (as against the norm RUG) in men with difficulty in voiding on account of disease (urethral stricture) in their genital.
• Has been involved in Multi-centre researches.
• Presented papers at local & international learned conferences/meetings.
• Published original articles in learned and peer-reviewed journals.
• Foundation editor of the Archives of Nigerian Medicine & Medical Sciences, a Journal of the local MDCAN NHA.
• Extensive experience in teaching and training of postgraduate medical doctors, medical students etc.
• Got the Radiology Dept NHA the first to be accredited for Postgraduate/Residency Training and has produced many Consultant Radiologists since then.
• As HoD managed & led the department of Radiology 1999 to 2006 (again in 2015 to 2016) & instituted patient/prospects focused staff attitude which earned the department & NHA respect within and outside Nigeria.
• Advised management on the terms of maintenance agreement with equipment manufacturers & vendors, culminating in the replacement of almost all the radiological equipment in the department with brand new ones, thus reducing equipment down-time and improved the services to patients.
• Member of national and international professional associations.
• Former President of the Association of Radiologists of West Africa 2010 to 2012.
• Special Appointments: [1] Consultant Radiologist to World Health Organization (WHO) on Pneumococcal Vaccine Trial 1998-2004. [2] Consultant Radiologist to Medical Research Council (MRC), The Gambia on PVT 1998 -2010. [3] Member, StopTB Nigeria, a board of the FMoH.
  Have mentored doctors and supervised or co-supervised several research dissertations leading to the award of Fellowship in Faculties of Radiology, ENT and Paediatrics in Nigeria.
